- Dwight claims going to a courthouse in Ohio would allow one to "obtain a learner's permit at age 14½ instead of 15," when in truth, one cannot be generally obtained until age 15½, and the only exceptions go through the Registrar of Motor Vehicles, not a courthouse.
- Dwight says that he doesn't celebrate birthdays, but in "Crime Aid" he laments how Angela would always give him attention on his birthday.
- Oscar's rant in Spanish translates as, "You give me an ulcer every time I wake up, and I have to come to work. I have to come to work for you. For you!"

- Meredith claims that she's been sleeping with the representative for Hammermill for six years. In the season three episode "The Convention," Michael and Josh state that Hammermill was exclusive with Staples until Michael convinces them otherwise in that episode. Therefore, it is impossible for her to be getting discounts that long.
- During the lunch break with Jim and Holly, Michael appears without his goatee, but later on in the episode he has it back on and even asks Ryan why he shaved his.
- In a scene where Holly discovers one of Kelly's dieting methods, the camera shot briefly passes by her desk, showing a name plaque that reveals her full name: Hollis "Holly" P. Flax.
